Work was challenging, and I’m hungry now! The mess, the time, sometimes it’s not worth waiting and eating at home. I started running through different fast food stops in my head, trying to think of something delicious yet not messy. No one likes to douse their clothes in OxiClean when they get home.

I was in the mood to try something new. The Crunchwrap Supreme from Taco Bell caught my eye. I wanted to avoid the messy taco and get something more contained with less potential for spillage, and the Crunchwrap Supreme looked like it might be what I was looking for.

The Crunchwrap from Taco Bell is not new. It’s been on the menu since the mid-2000s. This is my first time trying it, so I am sharing my experience.

Seasoned beef, nacho cheese sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, reduced-fat sour cream, and a crunchy tostada shell, all wrapped in a flour tortilla: no mess and no having to stop to eat inside.

My Taco Bell Crunchwrap Supreme Review

Why did I wait this long to check this out? If I could pick one item that sums up everything Taco Bell stands for, this would be it. It’s convenient, good tasting (not exceptional, but good), and reasonably priced.

It is better than I expected. I didn’t customize it, I might have to do that next time to find the perfect blend, but overall the standard Crunchwrap is good. It’s an amped-up, hybrid version of their classic taco supreme.

If you get the Crunchwrap without customizing, you’re looking at around 540 calories each. Once you add more toppings to it, you’ll be closer to six-hundred calories.

How much does a Crunchwrap cost?

Around $4.69 each at this time. When you read this article, prices are climbing faster than ever, so it might be closer to $5 or more. Let’s hope not.

How do you reheat a Crunchwrap?

My go-to method would be the air fryer. Preheat it and cook it for a minute or two, then flip it and do the same.

The other method is a little more unhealthy but should taste good. Put a little oil in a frying pan, cook it there for a bit, and then flip.

Reheating takes less time, so don’t leave it and get distracted. You’ll end up with a piece of charcoal that is inedible.
