I must say, cleaning and maintaining my Vornado 660 can be quite a task.

As for the base of the fan, a damp cloth will do just fine; just remember to unplug before beginning any cleaning activity to prevent potential risks.
The Vornado 660 moves a lot of air, so regular cleaning will be necessary. Fortunately, its motor is permanently lubricated and needs no oiling – one less thing for you to worry about!

Speaking of aesthetics, this fan is offered in two classic colors: white and black.
